Our checking account offers you the flexibility to access your money with paper checks, ATMs, debit card or online services. Checking with us is easy and stress free.
ATMs – You can access your checking account at any ATM around the world. All VSECU ATMs give you 100% free and unlimited access to your account.
Most ATM owners impose a surcharge fee directly to the consumer at the ATM at the time of the transaction. You can avoid surcharge fees when you use a CO-OP ATM anywhere in the U.S. This ATM network is owned and operated by credit unions. Additionally, ATM surcharge rebates are available for Advantage and Advantage Plus members
Debit Card – You will receive a debit card with your checking account. You can use your debit card to make purchases and access your accounts at ATMs.
Online Services – You can access your account online, view your transaction history, transfer money between accounts and even make payments to your VSECU loans all for free. Additionally Bill Pay is available (watch video) to make payments to other creditors directly from your checking account.
Paper Checks – You will have unlimited check writing without any monthly maintenance or transaction fees.

Open a Vermont Based Checking Account
You can apply to open additional savings or checking accounts as well as certificates online. You will have the option to fund these accounts from your existing VSECU accounts, another financial institution, by mail or in person.
