Take the Visa® debit card you already use, add a password to confirm online purchases, and you’ve got Verified by Visa®. It’s a service that helps ensure that only you can use your Visa® debit card online.
Verified by Visa® works like this:
- Set up your password on the Verified by Visa® website.
- Log on and shop with any participating Verified by Visa® online store.
- When it’s time to pay for your purchases, enter your Visa® debit card account number AND your Verified by Visa® password.
- Your password will be verified, and your transaction will be completed as usual.
- Your Visa® account number remains secure.
